Der var et afsnit af “Venner”, hvor Joey lod som om han ejede en Porche, for at bliver afsløret i, at den bil han havde stået overdækket på gaden i realiteten bare var en masse kasser med en pressæning over.
Men han førte sig frem med alt det tøj og tilbehør han kunne finde med Porche-logoet på – sko, bukser, bluse, jakke. halstørklæde, vanter, kasket osv.
Overdrivelse fremmer jo som bekendt forståelsen, men i dette tilfælde giver den nu også anledning til stort fniseanfald.
Og det er ikke kun Joey, som har det sådan. Jeg synes man ret ofte i gadebilledet ser en helt bestemt type unge mennesker (læs mænd) som udviser nogenlunde samme smags- og stilsans, som vor, lad os bare sige det højt – ikke alt for kloge, men alligevel knuselskelige ven Joey.
Når jeg ser disse mennesker komme gående i deres Quiksilver Jeans, åbentstående Quiksilver Jakke så man kan se deres Quiksilver T shirt, så kan jeg ikke andet end sende Joey en venlig tanke – og de forfattere som står bag – og håbe at de unge mænd i det mindste ikke er klar over at de er en lille smule til moro for os andre – det ville næsten være synd hvis de vidste det.
